Great news. Hopefully, Bl.ogs would prosper under Automattic's care. Yahoo bought a lot of companies over the years and failed to capitalize on them (most of the time). Some interesting divestments by established Dot Coms recently (Stumbleupon breaking loose from Ebay is one of the more notable ones).
