When you have spare $$$$ Do you .....
 

When you have spare money after all the bills have been paid do you just go out and spend it on things that you dont really need or do you put it away for a rainy day.?

I used to buy all sorts of rubbish I dident even need until things went bad for me about 4 years ago. Now I hate spending money It completly changed the way I manage my money and If I had put maoney away in the first place instead of wasting my money I would have been able to pull through the bad times we had.

No reason not to treat yourself each month if you work hard for it, as long as you save some too. That is how I do it, but I don't have a family yet. I guess having children would make me more cautious with money.

i think i just learned the lesson save for plan B....or C... but yah always have something saved somewhere for emergencies and of course rainy days :)

You need to learn to save your money. I know I wished I had in the past I never thought that things would go so wrong when it did, but its a good lesson learned

I usually save most, put some straight back into my sites & of course spend some buying shoes. Lol xx

I don't understand what spare money means, as I always used to earn more than I spend.

I used to invest back in this biz though, now I'm not, I'm just watching my savings grow each month.

What is your money in? Interest rates are pretty shit at the moment :Oh crap

I live my life as I do every day. We don't live check to check. There's been "spare" money laying around for years.
