the file sharing hosts like Rapidshare - which not surprisingly is the #17 site on Alexa and that doesn't include Rapidshare.de. Tubes have tube quality Flash video, Rapidshare, MegaUpload, and the other hundred file sharing sites have the high quality versions of whatever is on the tubes and more.

i guess people are focused on the tube sites because they're owned by adult webmasters.

tubes aren't as bad as file sharing hosting services.

Main issue would be that anyone can use a tube with 0 skills, knowledge, or training. Add that to the fact that most people are lazy and do not wish to learn how to use torrents.

While I despise torrents myself as that is where almost all of my shit gets stolen (unlike tubes). They are more like IRC traders of old. Educated nerds who pretty much like the idea of paying for nothing ever.

Rapidshare et al are not torrents - it's just a simple click to download the files direct from Rapidshare's servers the way you download any file on the Net.

Rapidshare etc affect solo girl and multigirl sites more than hardcore sites. Tubes affect hardcore sites more. They both suck.

So many of you are lazy mother fuckers that want to waste your time worrying about the sky falling, while sitting on your asses pushing the same old craptastic content we've seen peddled since '97. When will the industry learn that if you produce quality - people will take notice? (Excluding you, Dan) Most of the industry thinks with their heads up their ass - instead of thinking about innovation, you obsess over things like tubes giving away crappy content. If your content was any good, you wouldn't give a rat's ass about what the tubes are giving away. I sure as hell don't.

I'd say tubes are worse for those worrying about pirating. With file sharing host you'd have to download several files then unzip or unrar them. You need some patience to use them, it's not instant. With tubes you have the video right there, instantly ready to go. Don't like the video? No worries there's a million more right there ready to go at a click of a button. Any moron can click a button and make a video play. Also rapidshare and other filesharing host like it cost money unless you want to go through a lot more waiting and trouble.

Well sure, but I guess the problem is that all the videos totally suck. If you don't have a problem wacking it to old, shitty ass low-resolution content, I guess that's cool.

in my opinion most people can't be bothered to download a few GB just to jerk off. With a tube site they can open a 10 min video and cum without having to wait for the p2p transfer.

I agree. The fight against free porn is an illusion. Free porn was here before paid porn and it isn't going anywhere. Newsgroups have been around longer and are still more popular than torrents or tubes. If you want to make money, stop ripping DVDs and hoping to strike gold.

Fuck going after the 17th biggest site on the internet that has full members area rips for download and go after the 49th, and 55th sites that give full length crappy quality scenes because, and I quote "tube sites cater to the people who COULD pay!"?

This whole "KILL THE TUBES THEY ARE HURTING THE INDUSTRY!!" debate has been hilarious all this time... why? Because you all go to PornHub and see 30 minute videos and come running to GFY to make a thread about how it's hurting sales by stealing full length videos and posting them...

You know WHY big companies aren't going after tubes to "have their content removed" or force them to have shorter videos? Because A: the full length videos owned by those companies were put there by them, ask around, I'm damn sure they will tell you, "yes I put that up" Why do you think a lot are advertising on them? Direct/watermark tube site traffic converts 10x better then skimmed forced traffic from a TGP/MGP anyday.

Oh, and to also let you know, just because a tube has 30+ minute videos on their site, doesn't automatically make it an illegal tube site with stolen videos... Ask Choker, there is a possibility of content being licensed out to these tube sites.. What do you think WorldWideContent, MaDoltan and other content store guys are for? Sig spamming? Ok Bako aside.

Not saying there AREN'T companies out there who are having their content removed, but a majority of them are putting the stuff there themselves.

ive been aware of the megaupload/rapidshare method of trading content, oh for what, "years now?" lol Pretty sure it was years before I left Cali, and i left almost 3 years ago, so that means 4+ lol

those of us who knew/know have always sat back and laughed as the sheep whine about tubes but not the real way their content is being "stolen"

another funny one is when you see people who dont even understand how trackers or torrents work, but yet they are in every thread yapping and running thier mouth about torrents and people "hosting stolen content" there is no hosting content in torrents, doh...., they dont even know how they work... they think Pirate Bay stores all the files or something.
