Exxxotica, there are people around with the skills to beat Royce if they fight conservatively with no mistakes, but nobody is GUARANTEED to beat Royce. Did you see the recent fight between Ryan G and that Japanese guy? All you have to do is miss a punch and overextend your arm a little bit and it's OVER
Royce still has better ground skills than 99% of these guys.

True, nobody is GUARANTEED to beat anybody. However, Royce is a one dimensional fighter. He isnt even in the same weight class as Ortiz. Ortiz is a biger, stronger fighter with good wrestling skills, and good punching skills.
The Gracie days of butt scooting and dropping to the guard are over. That might have worked ten years ago against clueless opponents but not anymore. Fighters now days know how to avoid the submissions, and know how to "ground and pound" the pure JiuJitsu guys into submission.
When was the last time the Carlson Gracie team had an impressive victory? Or even an impressive match up? It's been a while.
