Bill8 04-22-2009 01:55 PM

cue the corrupt-cop-lovers in 3,2,1....

pocketkangaroo 04-22-2009 02:00 PM

Nothing new, a lot of low self-esteem cops out there who get off on their little power. This was just caught on tape.

PornMD 04-22-2009 02:02 PM

Cue the idiots that say all cops do this shit.

Ayla_SquareTurtle 04-22-2009 02:06 PM

Oh man, I love that reporter. He's got the best grin on his face when those cuffs go on.

munki 04-22-2009 02:13 PM

pay day...

Nikki_Licks 04-22-2009 02:19 PM

Apparently this shit bag cop has several complaints and is once again going to be investigated.
Hopefully this will turn into a law suit and the asshole gets his pink slip and has to pay for any damages done to the video camera.

One day he will do that to the wrong person and may find his ass going to the morgue :thumbsup

CherryLipsRosa 04-22-2009 02:20 PM

I am glad it was on tape !!

Elixir 04-22-2009 02:29 PM

ops thats bad news :)

pigman 04-22-2009 02:36 PM

Ozarkz 04-22-2009 02:49 PM

The police are soo poorly trained.

JC Maldini 04-22-2009 02:54 PM

What were they were reporting on in the first place?

the.drunk 04-22-2009 07:08 PM

welcome to the new world order

DWB 04-22-2009 09:15 PM

I will say a prayer tonight that that cop dies a HORRIBLE and very painful death and his family will get fucked over on the life insurance claim, his son grows up to be a tranny, his daughter a crack whore and his widow wife ends up on PissMops.com.

candyflip 04-22-2009 09:25 PM

"I am giving you an order"

SmokeyTheBear 04-22-2009 10:16 PM

hmm i usually tend to not side with the cops in these types of videos ( because they usually are overtstepping boundaries )

but in this video it seems like the reporter and cameraman are pulled over on the shoulder of the fast lane. Seems pretty reasonable to have them move off the shoulder, as they are in a super dangerous place. Cops end up seeing the result of people "seemingly innocent" mistakes like this. If the reporter got smoked by a semi people would be asking why the cop didnt remove the people, you could spend all day asking people nicely and explaining why things need to be done . With that being said he was a tad aggresive in his approach.

bronco67 04-22-2009 10:22 PM

I love the cops, but sometimes a few forget that they are OUR employees.

I agree the guys were idiots for parking (and alighting) in that position, but the cop went a little too far with his "good intentions"...

blogsy 04-22-2009 11:41 PM

the cop was probably having a bad day..

MrCodey 04-23-2009 12:16 AM

Cop never gave him a chance to leave.. never a chance.. So what was the point of the cop asking, the dude was leaving the whole time, never could cuz he was cornered and held by the cop.. This cop should be reprimanded without pay.. he will prolly get a suspension.. the stupid part is, it will be a suspension with pay.

This guy is trained to deal with emotions and scenarios like this from day 1 in boot camp.
He obviously missed class many times.. I say fire his ass, He dont have what it takes.

He ran (yelled) off a doctor/medic who had stopped and was trying to help one of the injured people. He told him they do not need him since an ambulance is on the way. Now if I was the guy laying there very much in need of medical attention I would be pretty pissed about that... This is talked about in one of the other stories I found online about this incident.

Well before you can become a cop they make sure you have

A) very small penis

B) low self-esteem

C) desire to use you new power of authority to "get back" at the world.

we cant see that in the video, and even so if the victim is stable, no need to have a doctor park in a dangerous place and possibly cause numerous deaths to help the victim.

SNL 04-23-2009 09:01 AM

Good for that cop. We dont need every clown pulling over with a camera demanding rights and free press.

Its a frikin highway with cars. Do they need another accident to deal with when the cameraman's truck gets hit from some spaced out driver not paying attention to the road.

Ozarkz 04-23-2009 09:05 AM

Did any of you WATCH the video?

CAN YOU NOT SEE THE CAR north of the truck and where it is parked? And all the people standing around IT?

Morons.

The Reporter was just doing his job like thousands of other reporters at thousands of accidents before him.

if you watched the video, you would not be asking that .... It runs like 3 minutes .... no to long to get an answer :2 cents:

Tom_PM 04-23-2009 09:16 AM

Every 5 year old knows to say "I'm not doing anything". Thats a clue that they need to be TOLD what they're doing wrong before they'll understand why they should comply with you. You cant be a dick and yell "I'm giving you an order" and expect them to just salute and comply. Simple communications 101.

Because your car is improperly stopped on a busy highway, move it now or I'm placing you under arrest.

omg I wonder if that mightve worked.

Tom_PM 04-23-2009 09:19 AM

Yes the reporter was doing his job, and yes there were other people around. A judge wont give a shit about that. Whats important is that while the police MAY have had every right and repsonsibility to control the situation, they arent superman and they cant just order people "I'm giving you an order!" and expect compliance. This is America, perhaps he was confused that people have rights and he has procedures to follow so as not to be thrown under the bus by his bad actions.
It was a procedural mistake IMHO. Pretty simple one really I think. But the police made it seem like he was just PERSONALLY pissed at the reporter and roughed him up and tried to order him around. He should apply for active duty, not public service.

SNL 04-23-2009 09:40 AM

What would Alex Jones have done in that situation?

Nothing it was a traffic crash and they were causing an issue by parking there

Simply put the cop has enough on his hands that he now does not need to worry about them getting hit.

Right, Because if it did as a result of the cop letting the guy stay, he would have been sued for it.

Its simple. You walk up on the Scene of an accident or a crime and the police tell you to leave, to not do so, is " Failure to Obey a Lawful command " They dont need to tell you why. When the cop told the reporter to put his hands on the truck and leave them there the guy seemingly pulls away at one point. thats " Resisting Arrest without violence" And stopping his truck on the raod to " INTERVIEW PEOPLE??? Come the fuck on. thats just stupid.
