I'm like that too. I like extra virgin olive oil raw on top of some dishes, and definitely in cooking. But actual olives? No freakin way.

I cook with olive oil, and I like olive oil dips for bread and stuff, but I hate olives with a vengeance!

What I can say is when I use olive oil in salads for example, taste doesn´t remind me olives.. Does it has any logic?

Speaking of olive oil for dipping bread...its great when you mix in a little red wine vinaigrette!
