Hello, welcome!

A couple of friendly tips to help get you started, just what I noticed on your site...

First, sort out your page code-wise properly: it doesn't validate, and even misses the <body> tag - get that done ASAP. This will not get you good rankings, semantically the page is incorrect.

Second, try to experiment a little more with the color and your top design: black, white, grey, pink (all around, i mean literally, even with the opening pic of your model). I would definately sort out some more appealing and maybe even more intensive design. But this depends on the overall style of the page. Get a good design - it's very important.

Other board members will give you ideas on promoting, etc - I'll leave it up to them. Hit me up on ICQ though if you have any questions, I'm really glad to help, as I myself have recieved alot from the community.

...and last but not least: good luck ! :thumbsup

Welcome to GFY, having a look at the site now, will post some tips

Lushbucks 04-20-2009 11:36 AM

Welcome! Good info from SilentSound. You may also want to add http:// to your href= links.

phillipribix 04-20-2009 11:36 AM

I designed this page over the week last week needed something up no matter what this is what i came up with. i need to hire a pro to really set up the page and a real back end. but alas im poor. i will fix the body tags, but overall it does work for now. currently my biggest thing is TRAFFIC!! lol and MEMBERS!!

SilentSound 04-20-2009 11:39 AM

Traffic you will earn from a solidly built page and marketing...

Search traffic + ref. traffic. But for search traffic to work, you absolutely must have a page readable by search engines. Don't overdo it (welcome to the world of SEO...), but make it correct.

phillipribix 04-20-2009 11:44 AM

working on it now, i guess that include the members sections as well huh

SilentSound 04-20-2009 11:48 AM

Well - it isn't indexed by search engines (except.. okay let's not overwhelm you with the technical details), so from an SEO point of view, no, BUT:

it will not render correctly in all browsers, etc, etc, and missing a <body> tag... well that doesn't send too good signals if ya ask me :2 cents:

hit me up later on ICQ if you need help

SilentSound 04-20-2009 11:50 AM

...and dude, two </head> tags

(edit:)

...and <a href="www.darlingamy.com"> will just point a browser to http://www.darlingamy.com/www.darlingamy.com which sucks actually: put that http:// in there as Camm said

phillipribix 04-20-2009 12:06 PM

lol an hour into the forum and im getting a tounge lashing. beside done look at me body look at hers lol

phillipribix 04-20-2009 12:13 PM

ok fixed front page, is this better?

SilentSound 04-20-2009 12:18 PM

You still have the </head> issue...

"Line 50, Column 7: end tag for element "head" which is not open"

...constructive critisism, not trying to be a know-it-all

phillipribix 04-20-2009 01:02 PM

SUCCESS!! 100% xhtml validation using the tool thank you for pointing that out to me, please double check jsut to make sure

SilentSound 04-20-2009 01:10 PM

Good work mate! now it's optimize, optimize, and ... oh yeah, i didn't mention optimize did i?

phillipribix 04-20-2009 01:13 PM

Thanks so much for the help, sorry if the tounge lashing post sounded mean, it was meant to be funny, what would you reccommend to drive traffic. should i just break down and pay for it?

SilentSound 04-20-2009 01:21 PM

it's cool :)

No way dude, don't buy it yet - work to get your page up to tops in terms of quality, build some backlinks (watch for quality!!!) and wait for some PR. When you've got some of that (maybe 1-2 months, don't get discouraged) observe your keywords and search terms very very closely - I think this is the time to get an SEO expert to redo your site, 'cause this is the time you are starting to see vital stats regarding your visitors.

Be patient - think in the long run: you've got an exclusive model, a site for her, you just need to get your marketing right.

good luck bro :thumbsup

NO dont buy traffic, bought traffic is generally shit, (most of the time) feeder traffic for tradeing...

Hit me up icq (if you want help)

bmchunu 04-20-2009 04:08 PM

GothBuXXX 04-21-2009 04:26 AM

Hey good luck :)

Hit me up if you have any questions with anything.

pornguy 04-21-2009 09:32 AM

1. Align the text to the center on the bottom of the page
2. Tell me something about the site. you tour says NOTHING on the first page and you already lost 50%+ of your traffic.
3. Dont need that many photos on the first page of the girl
4. Your Updates link is password protected.
5. you Dairy is password protected
6. Your shop link is a 404.
7. Live chat is password protected
8. Friends is password protected.

If they need to be password protected then they DONT need to be on the index page. Except for the MEMBERS button.

text is confusing as hell and tells me NOTHING about what I will get inside.

pornguy 04-21-2009 09:33 AM

Hope that helps some.. I am always available on ICQ if you want some more feed back.

:)

phillipribix 04-21-2009 10:08 AM

still working on some of the areas, text is aligned

Chosen 04-21-2009 11:01 AM

Hello & welcome to GFY :)

SilentSound 04-21-2009 11:07 AM

Hello - some things I noticed again

- why are you using the simpleviewer flash object on the front page? it can be done in XHTML with a bit of javascript spice, and be WAY better for a crawler. Flash still causes their tummies to groan and you don't want that :)
- the shop link is incorrect, it's pointing to http://www.darlingamy.coms/tore.darlingamy.com - it should be http://store.darlingamy.com ?
- put the analytics code just before </body>, this is mainly from the user experience perspective

phillipribix 04-21-2009 11:41 AM

hey silent, hit me up on icq

Fortress 04-21-2009 12:11 PM

hi and welcome, you will get a lot of great advice here.

AdultKing 04-21-2009 01:47 PM

Make sure you keep an eye on your site stats and learn how people traverse their way through your site. You can find roadblocks and fix them if you learn to do this. Also make sure you regularly test your site in IE, Firefox and Safari. Validate your html and ensure your css works across as many browsers as you can manage.

SilentSound 04-21-2009 01:50 PM

that's right, the guy from down under said it: test, test, and test, and ensure cross-browser correctness

michael.kickass 04-21-2009 01:54 PM

Welcome to GFY! Good luck finding that bag! :)

Exo_Seb 04-21-2009 03:02 PM

Hey, welcome to GFY. I like the design of your paysite. It looks like made by amateur and maybe this will work good for your ratios.

TMM_Vlad 04-22-2009 11:24 AM

Welcome aboard :) Whenever you are ready to set-up an affiliate program please let me know.

nexusweb 04-22-2009 01:10 PM

Looking good so far, I know you're already working on it, but I definitely think that you should get a better header graphic first and foremost. It can go a long way even if everything else on the site remained exactly the same. Plus, it's far cheaper/easier than doing a full tilt redesign by a pro before you're moving memberships.

Let me know if I can help and BEST OF LUCK!

phillipribix 04-26-2009 11:33 PM

Yeah i dont really know what im doing here. my bounce rate is through the roof, and i havent sold one thing yet. i really need some help .

I came in here to say exactly that..

As a surfer, the very first thing I clicked on was "Updates" expecting to see some thumbnail pictures of your recently updated galleries and sets, but when the password box popped up to log in, I closed down the browser immediately.

Let's just say that your welcome page needs to work on SELLING YOU. By me clicking, shows i'm INTERESTED but NOT YET CONVINCED. Through clicking on links, you need to get me from INTERESTED to MEMBER... linking everything to a password protected members area does not accomplish that. Good luck, I'm sure you'll be revamping and working on that.

stonehammer 05-03-2009 06:23 PM

congrats on making it to a actual paysite...still lots of work ahead !!!!

i got put-off too by the "updates", in fact i closed your site after clicking on updates and getting a password prompt

phillipribix 05-04-2009 11:47 PM

good feedback on the Updates part of the site. Currently we are working on more content, so the updates are a little, well non-existent at the moment. fortunately you are clicking on the updates button so that is a start. it gives me a great place to start.

swordfih 05-05-2009 12:02 AM
