Not necessarily done by someone. It could be something.

LadyMischief 04-20-2009 04:43 AM

It sounds like something the horses were exposed to here that they didn't have any immunity to, being from south America.

The Duck 04-20-2009 04:57 AM

it's a drug smuggling conspiracy. thos eponies are packed full of cocaine, the vets are in on it. they will be dissected and the good on their way to distribution before dark tonight...

John-ACWM 04-20-2009 05:47 AM

Bad news, could be a mistake or maybe a twisted mind

gmr324 04-20-2009 07:43 AM

Moldy hay can do a number on horses. I would think the Polo club would be filtering that out though.

seeandsee 04-20-2009 07:47 AM

end of world?

DAMNMAN 04-20-2009 07:54 AM

The number of horses is up to 21 now.

I live in the area and those people are serious about there equine events.

Some are real serious pricks too!!!!

I bet someone poisoned those horses so their team would win...... I wouldn't put it past then!!!!

This is always an option these days I guess...... But the horses were worth way more than any amount of drugs you could put inside of them.... BELEIVE THAT!!!!

"According to several sources, the horses had a reaction to a steroid derivative that may have been tainted with a cleaning solution, the Sun Sentinel reported. The shots apparently were administered by an Argentine vet not licensed in the U.S., it further reported."

That was in this other article http://www.palmbeachpost.com/localne...ses.html?imw=Y

UFGators2007 04-20-2009 11:36 AM

I was there yesterday, a beautiful day that went really grim. It was very shocking. The highlight was seeing all the people get together and lend a hand when the horses started dropping.

The Sun Sentinel is jumping the gun a bit. The vets who were working on the horses did not want to speculate on anything. They are still waiting back on results from the autopsies.
