just started promoting them again, can't remember if it was that long back in the day ...

longer hold = more profit for them

it would be more like:
longer hold = more depth to them?

longer hold = more protection for them.

longer hold = less affiliate scammers for them...

question - how can affiliates scam sponsers?

LOL... fighting affiliate fraud is one of the biggest things to deal w/ when running a program...

there are organized ID theft rings whos sole purpose is to run fraud sales and steal sponsor payouts...

they are stealing identities and pushing it through as legit sales.

these assholes intermingle fraud sales w/ legit sales so its extremely hard to spot...

What a load of crap... Other sponsors can do it with a 10-15 day hold period... Shitty program if they can't handle that.

There's NOTHING wrong with a 30 day hold period to protect a program from scammers. Most programs are 30 days. Panchos is one of the better sologirl programs around

yeah i assume it's for fraud prevention just nothing in their terms or on the site about how long the hold is.

If you guys can't wait 1 fucking month to get paid, you are in the WRONG BUSINESS.

Affiliate fraud is out of fucking control atm.

You wouldn't believe the number of scammers praying on programs who are easily caught napping. Banned 7 accounts yesterday for totally obvious fraud, sent out another 12 emails for accounts I am pretty sure are fraud but want to give them the benefit of the doubt.

A longer hold period and higher min payout helps you get more data to act upon, has saved us tens of thousands of dollars this past year alone. Its not like we benefit either, we refund the sales so we dont get slugged with that nasty Chargeback fee when (not if) that CB comes in.

Well, with the current rate of sponsors dropping like flies, I think everyones in the wrong business anyway:1orglaugh

don't they pay out weekly though? so get through the first month and as long as the sales come in you get paid weekly.

been getting payments with them for 3 years maybe ...?
