is there a law in California against smoking near neighbors windows?
 

Is there a law in California that bans smoking near a place where that smoke would easily travel into a neighbors home through open windows and force them to breathe in the toxic too?

So? I hate when people stink around me. Still, there are no laws to force you being clean. Will the people driving a car be forced to not drive a car, because there are people who dont do it? So those who dont drive a car, could easilly piss off about the car drivers. Wheres the right for fresh air here?

Have you even tried asking them to stand somewhere else and smoke? I assume if they don't smoke in there own home they would be understanding about the smoke coming through your window? If you approach them nicely I am sure a resolution can be reached.

What's really sad about our society, is that instead of talking nicely with the neighbor about it, he comes to GFY to find out if it's against the law so hopefully he can call the cops on them.
