I could really use your help on this one.

So I'm trying to install this Red Stamp Blogger theme at,

http://www.eblogtemplates.com/red-stamp-blogger/

and I keep getting the following error, "The new widget id "Recent-Posts-Widget1" is invalid for type: Feed".

After doing some research I made the following edits:

Changed these lines,

b:widget id=?Recent-Comments-Widget? locked=?false? title=?Recent Comments? type=?Feed?

b:widget id=?Recent-Posts-Widget1′ locked=?false? title=?Recent Posts? type=?Feed?

To these lines,

b:widget id=?Feed2′ locked=?false? title=?Recent Comments? type=?Feed?

b:widget id=?Feed1′ locked=?false? title=?Recent Posts? type=?Feed?

This action fixed the "The new widget id "Recent-Posts-Widget1" is invalid for type: Feed" error, but now I'm getting a new error:

"The new widget id "Ads" is invalid for type: HTML"

and that is where it stands now..

I am extremely frustrated, and have searched high and low for any decent solutions but haven't found any.

If you try to install this theme, you should get the same error. I'm at a loss on what to do and could really use some help.

I really like this theme and am partial to use it, I would be VERY APPRECIATIVE for any help or suggestions at all.

what are you trying to do, just get recent posts and comments to show up in the sidebar?

Just want to install the theme? Then go to the widgets and remove all of them from the sidebar that might work.

the widgets are not the problem. They are deleted, and even if they aren't you can auto-delete them and confirm and save. I don't think that's the issue at all.

Like I said, it takes 2 seconds to install a blogger theme. I'm sure anyone who tries to install this one will get the same error.

Pretty sure it has something to do with a blogger update that jilted the coding a bit.

Would seriously appreciate some help.
