Ideal thumbnail sizes for a TGP?
 

What's the ideal thumbnail size for a TGP?

I'm just starting to build my first TGP with comusthumbs and it defaults to something like 90x120 which I think is really tiny. I tried changing a few of them to 125x175 and it looks better, but I'm not sure what the ideal size is to surfers/trade partners.

Are rectangles preferred over squares (i.e. 125x175 vs 150x150, etc).

I would appreciate your feedback :)

120x150 works fine

Thats something that depends on a few things.

1. what do you like

2. what looks good with your design

3. what do your surfers like

4. what sort of bandwidth can you afford.

I remember when the standard size was even smaller than 90x120. I used to offer a thumb cropping service, even had a few guys doing them 8 hours a day. I think the standard now could be about twice as big.

so.. 180x240 is good :D :D

180 x 135 is a good size. Never too little nor too big, plus you get to keep a great layout. check out hentaicode.com and see how it looks like
