Can you upload and watch .flv files on the iPhone?
 

I have a bunch of .flv files on my computer. is there any way to watch them on my iPhone, so I can watch them when im away from the computer?

Upload them to youtube. Then jailbreak your iphone and download an app called mxtube this allows you to download and save youtube videos.

You can convert FLV to anything you want.

if memory serves, your best bet is MP4 (to convert to)

I cant its stuff i paid for and I'm not authorized to upload it anywhere

iPhone uses H264 I believe and as for actually downloading directly to your phone ...It has to be jailbroken .... but there are lots of simple converters to change anything to iPhone .. If it's adult content why not just grab some from my sites for your iPhone .. all my content is available in iPhone and even sony PSP format then of course the usual standard players out there for PC's and Macs ..

its slides from a 6 hour conference on making money in mainstream. i want to watch it on a long trip coming up.
look look around, i dont want to break my iphone because then it turns into a brick, or something and I got the most expensive one so dont want an ibrick lol
