Truth about Columbine

"much of what the public has been told about the shootings is wrong."

They weren't goths or loners.

The two teenagers who killed 13 people and themselves at suburban Denver's Columbine High School 10 years ago next week weren't in the "Trenchcoat Mafia," disaffected videogamers who wore cowboy dusters. The killings ignited a national debate over bullying, but the record now shows Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold hadn't been bullied ? in fact, they had bragged in diaries about picking on freshmen and "fags."

Wow. So all those PHD dissertations about "deindividuation" and "fragmented postmodern identities" go straight to the shitcan now? Academia vs. facts = not very pretty sight. It gets even uglier when public policy is based on faulty academic research/theories.

I hope they rot in hell. Hopefully there is one ...

Regardless of social status in the pecking order, they were fucked in the head.

Colombine was 1 of 3 events that I can remember the day it happened and where I was when I found out. It was big enough news that our history teacher had found out about it before our class and told our class about it and we probably talked about it a good 5-10 minutes before he started teaching.

Honestly, it was painfully obvious when it did happen that all sorts of people and groups would find anything in it that they could to spin their own agenda. They played Doom? Well then video games caused them to be violent, let's ban violent video games! They listened to Marilyn Manson? Ban his music and any "hate-filled" music! That aftermath was as disgusting and devoid of respect for the victims as what the boys themselves did...it was just horrible. There have been sick and evil fucking people throughout time - why all of a sudden now do we make the assumption that something is making them sick and evil and if we can remove it from society, the world will be nothing but happy people? Give me a fucking break.

Which are the other 2 events? I remember where I was when the Columbine story broke--I was on a freeway overpass in California on my way to Cerritos. The other 2 events I remember where I was where the deaths of Jerry Garcia (of the Grateful Dead) and Kurt Cobain.

That was a pretty bad day. We had the local stations from Denver on tv so we heard and watched about it forever. Never forget seeing the kids jumping out of classroom windows and stuff.

Kurt Cobain and the Challenger explosion for me.

I thought everyone knew that Columbine was a false flag attack perpetrated by the Mossad and the CIA to deflect domestic US attention away from US and Israeli imperial ambitions in the Middle East. Harris and Klebold were just patsies. :2 cents:

There's a couple that are close like the Columbia breaking into pieces, Princess Di's freakish death, Santana shootings (the "Colombine" that happened about 2 years later in a school here in San Diego area) and Oklahoma City Bombing (happened on my 13th birthday but I don't remember the day well), but the other 2 are actually:

- The OJ verdict: Announced on the PA at my middle school if you can believe it...my mom had the TV constantly on Court TV following that entire trial and it was just such a big deal, probably for the whole country but esp. being in SoCal.

- 9/11...god that was freaky...I'm waking up, still in a zombie half-woken state listening to my clock radio which normally wakes me up with music, people talking about planes flying into buildings and it took me maybe 20 minutes before I realized it had really happened, woke up my mom, and was glued to the TV for the better part of 2 days.

No it wasn't a false flag operation, it was much simpler than that. The boys we're easily able to order guns from various websites before regulations we're in place. But VA Tech, that has some odd false flag-like coincidences around it.
