Having one sample and then featuring tons of series snapshots down a column, so much of it that one has to scroll down.

Personally I do find these previews more enticing than what was going on previous...the 'next' show a few pictures and then another 'next' button to the join page.

That tour did nothing for me.

But everybody's using that style. Sexmoviestoday.com and many others. I suppose it's converting?

I'm on a cable modem so downloads are quite fast. I suppose it wouldn't be that great for dial-up users. Is there such thing as dial-up users still (is that even someting to be concerned about anymore or are there so few dial-up users it doesn't matter?)

Well these kind of sites are for the cable/adsl users any 56k user will get the hell out of this site untill it opens up, But I have a strange point of view about this issue, I belive Cable/Adsl users have more $ money than the normal 56k users and they are most liley to signup for these kind of sites, since they are not looking for pictures they want movies! and the better quality.

I'm sure this kind of tours work out very good for some people out there, but me myself don't like it.

That's my take on these types of tours. They appear to be more forthright and honest about the content that is actually in the members area as it will appear in the members area.

The older tours claiming 100,000's of pics and movies never put anything up front for the potential buyer.

Not that these new tours are the best or the only way to go.

The newest tours around are like an hybrid between the normal paysite with the 100,000+ IMages bla bla and the tour you showed us Bobo, But I have no idea how well those convert.

By the time you see a feature of a tour on several different programs, it is time to think of the NEXT way to tweak a tour to get higher conversions.

One other excellent point about OX those guys tweak their tours all the time.

That tour crashed my browser both times I tried to view it. Even if it had not, when I hit a tour that makes me wait while an audio file tries to load I always get out fast, I have no patience for that. The audio is usually just annoying anyway. I have a dual Athlon 1800+ with 2 gigs of ram, $300 soundblaster and am on cable modem. If I hit a page that makes me wait I'm gone.

roger, imho, using those matrix girls that everyones seen for like 2 years every day at leas 20 times a day i'd guess is hurting conversions.... awesome tour, but id be willing to bet (pride) that swapping those oldschool matrix girls out with some no-names of equal 'hot factor' would improve conversions...

Its all about giving them a good deal to take a look inside thats what I focus on I have tried all types of tours and I do better without them.
