Me and the misses were watching that, When she said she wanted to become a singer I laughed but my misses said "I bet she has a good voice" and I laughed again. I dident laugh again when she started to sing, Its not my kind of music but she sure has a sweet voice and I hope all of her dreams come true

I guess it says something about our culture when we are all shocked when someone who is unattractive actually has talent. I guess the assumption is that only good looking people have any talent or skills. Yet we all bitch about pop stars who just look hot but have no talent. I don't get it.
