Thumbs from video ? what software?
 

I need to create 6 thumbs from a video file. Thumbs must be of relatively high quality.

I have tried both FrameShots and Videocharge but thumbs come out very blurry if there is some motion in the video at time when thumb is created. I need something that can recognize too much motion and take decent thumbs. Paid or free software

frame shots works for me, or you could use ffmpeg to create all screenshots from the video and pick and chose

We have used many types of software to grab thumbs for video and have found that ffmpeg is good for small thumbs like 120x60 however for bigger ones and to get good quality you have to do each one by hand.

for wmv files i normally use cyberlink power dvd that came with my pc and it does a pretty good job
