Why do people use shitty hosts?
 

I'm trading traffic with this guy who runs 2 sites. One of them is: http://super-tits.com/

His prod was around 285% and returns were good. So I raise the force to him over night...Suddenly all traffic stops.

I visit his site and see a msg saying: "Bandwidth Limit Exceeded
The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to the site owner reaching his/her bandwidth limit. Please try again later"

What a fucking wanker. When will people learn going with the cheapest and shittiest host possible is a bad idea?

I don't know I didn't actually lookup the host. Just a shame good 2 trades of mine died and the poor guy running his sites has to start over. Both must of had about 15-20K and growing. What a waste.

Because maybe they really can't afford anything better. Especially when one is starting out. I'm on a 6.95/month host. True if I go above my allotted amount of bandmidth they'll bill me at $x/gig more not just cut me off. Buf if I had to upgrade to a $15/month host I'd probably be out. Pathetic? Yes. But what am I todo until I start converting?

dude,why are you running a tgp?? start building avs sites. On $7 hosting plan you'll never be able to make any sale from tgp traffic

The way I see it, is I gotta start from somewhere. Learning how generate traffic, best ways to promote an affiliate etc.. I currently don't have the amount of traffic that'll crush my $7 plan. It actually holds up preety good, granted it gets slow at times.
As soon as I start breakin' even to cover a better plan, I'm all for it. (have my eye on likewhoa)
It may happen soon.. google update right around the corner and I have a gut feeling:)

When I signed up to my first shitty host it was because I was drunk. I swear, I didn't remember a think. It's the alchohol I tell ya, the alchohol!

Damn there are good hosts out there that'll set you up on a $1 per gig plan with the min's. ranging from 50-100 gigs a month.

All you need is 3 sales from a $35 per sale sponsor to go in the black.

When I start getting 3 sales/month, hosting will be the next thing I invest in. I don't WANT a cheap host. It's how it's gotta be for now.
