Are the FBI going to be in the business of repo-ing cars next?

Amazing how much power these companies have and they can't use it positively.

gornyhuy 04-10-2009 05:39 AM

Fuck... that is one thing I was NOT afraid of happening to my business.... until now.

Great. :(

Make sure your host doesn't host tubes kids...

Should adult be worried? Possibly. Brandon speculated that if the federal government should decide to raid a server farm that hosts an offending tube site, a lot of other harmless adult sites might get swept up in a similar way.

that is just fantastic. bringing the FBI in to collect your debts.

Can anyone sign up for that program or do you have to be a huge corporation for that perk?

Someone started this thread a couple of days ago. The people who are behind the hosting companies are involved in multiple VoIP scams using falsified documents and fraudulent activities to get the contracts with ATT, Verizon and a few other carriers to the tune of $4-5 million. The owner (Faulkner is his name) also runs a bunch of pirate sites serving warez.

Basically, if the FBI is raiding shit. You only need to worry if you're doing something illegal. :2 cents:

Ok, that takes care of your personal freedom...

What about the severe disruption to your 100% legal business due to them physically removing equipment?...

more shitty, one sided and biased writing from the industries shittiest news source.

life is unfair. if someone is using your servers to do illegal shit with... then they become evidence and certainly shouldn't be accessed or modified.

one would think it would be obvious that they took certain servers for a reason, being that they only took a fraction of the servers in the datacenter.

HerPimp 04-10-2009 07:02 AM

Looks like we people in the U.S. need to find a real free country to host their sites.

The question is if the data center ignored/knew about it - or not. If the ones you're doing legal business with, are doing illegal business themself and hurt you, its time to move on. And maybe sue them.

And not a number they decided to take on the day, this would of needed some vans and they would of had to plan it before hand.

So the question is who was on the list, anyone know of any sites going down?

Could of been sites that were scamming.
