revshare: industry standart

why are you people offering pps? offer 100 signup bonus and thats all. the rest is supporting people who are cheating ... what? :)

polish_aristocrat 04-09-2009 04:53 PM

you forgot to wish us all the best with our sites...

TeenCat 04-09-2009 04:57 PM

ok and wish you best with your sites! :thumbsup :)

I agree... the incentive is to get affiliates.

I think the incentive payout would be effective on 30 day scale (1-6 sales... X bonus, 7-14... X bonus, etc.) Profits split 50/50... that just makes sense to me.

Bottom line if a site makes money for an affiliate they will stick with it.

RevShare it! 04-09-2009 05:27 PM

RevShare it!

Shhhhhhhhhhh

revshare rocks!

jollyperv 04-09-2009 08:59 PM

I love looking at stats and seeing a single sale that has rebilled 40 times :)

kane 04-09-2009 09:09 PM

My experience has been that I make just about the same regardless of pps or revshare. The difference is that with pps I get the money now with revshare I have to wait and collect it over several months but in the end when I add it all up my revshare sites end up making me around $36 per signup (that is adding up sales that are just trial and no rebill and those that rebill) so for me there is not a whole lot of difference.

That said there are some sites convert very well that only offer PPS and others that only offer revshare so I can't compare those sites directly.

I am considering raising our Rev Share to take into account rejoins and type ins. Will start at a base of 55% and go up to 75% based on monthly sales.

Raf1 04-10-2009 02:05 AM

it all depends on the sponsor. You just have to try what works best for you. I have the same situation as Kane.

Use what works for you.
Rev share has always been my prefered method for the last eight years and with sales getting harder and harder to come by those rebills always help.
But at the end of the day, support from the sponsor, custom tools built to specs and of course getting paid are always nice too.

You forgot conversion and retention. All support you mentioned costs money, money that could of been spent on live people on webcam, newer and better content. All of which controls conversions and retention.
