I got a call on my voicemail from a state Detective from the sherriff's internet fraud division about a model that I shot around 7 years ago...I named her "Paleface The Pipehead" and she was 32 years old when I shot her.

So the detective was really nice about everything and he requested that I take a picture of her down from my site..it was probably an SEO page that I built about her....He didn't even know that there are hundreds of galleries with a full picture set floating around the net.....He said that if the picture wasn't taken down that he would call me the next day...He didn't threaten me with anything..He just said he would call.

So I called him back and left a message asking him to tell me what law I have broken, knowing that I didn't break any and if the detective tried to lie, it would be recorded on voicemail.....However, he was very nice again and asked if I could take it down "out of the goodness of my heart".

Now I'm not going to take down the galleries and now that some crackhead bitch tried to snitch on me to the police, I should put her on blast but I won't.....But since the detective was so nice, I'm going to black out her face on the SEO page that I've built but I'm doing it for the detective, not for the woman.

But let me tell you one thing.....When you're checking voicemail and the man says, "This is DETECTIVE so and so", an initial feeling of dread hit the pit of my stomach....Of course once he explained himself, the fear left.

Maybe it was a gay detective?

I found this girl when I wasn't even looking for a girl. I was about to go take a walk and get some exercise so I could work some of this potbelly off. I read a good amount of the comments and I realized how smart your niche is. It is not a big niche, but you cannot find another site like yours.


With that said, if you removing the picture of that woman won't affect your traffic that much then remove it and replace it with something else. However, tell the detective that you are doing him a favor even though you did not break any laws, but the next time he needs you to remove something, he must have a valid reason. Also, in situations like this, remember that he is as much human as you are, so ask him if some day he will do you a favor out of his good heart too.

It seems very strange to me that a detective would contact you requesting the removal of content from one of your girls. An attorney should have contacted you regarding a legal matter such as that. And what does the "internet fraud" division have to do with anything? You didn't commit internet fraud by shooting her for your site. Of course, the call is up to you and if she is not driving any traffic to your site and if you do not have that much content of her, I guess it wouldn't hurt all that bad to remove her photos but if you are in possession of a signed model release as well as her ID then I really don't see how she would have any type of legal case.

To avoid the headache and the drama, you could just comply but if you choose to fight it, I really don't see how she would have a strong case against you. That is, if she even bothered to hire an attorney and to take it to that level...and that is what leads me to wonder why a detective contacted you when it should have been her attorney. Get into touch with her and ask her what the heck is going on and be sure to remind her that she signed a legal binding contract and that if she chooses to spend the money and the time persuing it on a legal level then she can....but that she will lose and cause nothing but a big waste of time for everyone involved.
