SicCash put stop-payment on check

Hello,

I am writing this message to inform you guys of what SicCash did to me. I've used SicCash for about a month until a recent event occured. Before I ever received a bad check, I was cashing previous checks at Bank of America just fine until I recently received a check in the amount of $300.00 which had a stop-payment put on it. I went to Bank of America on Friday, 11/22/02, to have the check cashed. I went up to the teller to cash the check but it wouldn't clear so I wound up waiting 30 minutes while one of the tellers tried to find out why the check wouldn't clear. After waiting 30 minutes, the teller came back and told me the check was misprinted (notice there is no bank name on the check in the picture below, just a line) and a stop-payment had been put on the check and to find out why the stop-payment had been put on the check I would need to e-mail a certain e-mail address. Afer that I came home, e-mailed them and as of yet I am still waiting for a reply. I tried to log into my SicCash account but found it came up with a message that says "Invalid Username/Password". I'm not exactly sure why I was terminated but any SicCash account can be terminated without notice. The only thing that bothers me is that I dedicated my time and my labor towards earning that $300.00 just to find out a stop-payment was put on it. I know some people have had no trouble with SicCash and others have, but I thought I would just inform you guys of what happened to me and hope that SicCash will never do anything like that to any of you. My suggestion is to search for other adult sponsor programs. What SicCash did to me was completely wrong and I hope you guys will learn from my experience with them. To show you I'm not messing around, I scanned the bad check that was misprinted and had a stop-payment put on it.

I have never heard of the bank giving you back a stop payment check...any other time they keep the check for their records...not like I would know or anything

Serge_Oprano 11-23-2002 12:12 PM

happens all the time....what else is new?

I have a siccash account that was inactive. I wanted to keep some of their links on a page that I am rejuvinating and when I logged into siccash, they deactivated my account. I emailed kim at shawinternet.com and got no response. I hope I hear something soon because traffic is being sent to them as we speak.

A bank will give you back and NSF or Stop Payment check. It is your property and you do have legal rights to force collection; the remitter may also have a legal right to have stopped payment.

i'll print the check with my laser and i'll go cash it on monday.

If we stopped payment on a check, your account was marked fraud AFTER the check was mailed. Uusally fraud is either caught by epoch, or in house, then all checks on that account are cancelled.

If you let me know your account #, I would know more. But without your account #, not much help I can provide.

x582 11-23-2002 12:24 PM

duh!

Kimmykim 11-23-2002 12:25 PM

If you get caught cheating, you don't get a check and we will stop payment on any that we have issued, same as every other sponsor.

BVF -- I don't see any mail from you, I've been in Vegas for the show the last couple days, but I only have about 3 emails unanswered and those are all internal... I would suggest you send the mail to me again.
