SEO question about "cloaking"

Just finished an international version of my best german solo site project.
To push that new baby forward, Iīd like to redirect all non german, austria, switzerland and netherlands visitors via .htaccess

like that

RewriteCond %{****:Accept-Language} !^(de|de-at|de-ch|nl)
RewriteRule ^$ [***]**************[/***]

Works smooth so far, but I removed it, cause at this time I really donīt know how google will treat that kind of redirection for the german site ?
Does anyone surely know if this kind of cloaking might be a problem and if so, what is the alternative to redirect that worthy international traffic from an older well known site to the better target ?

Sorry for the *** , not allowed to post URLīs as a newbie

cloaking, hard questin, many issues, etc.. from my side and experience the best thing to do is to register your domain in .de etc... than redirect all the traffic from your .com domain to that de domain. Don't get me wrong with cloaking you can get pretty productive traffic and many sales, but that's also blackhat, so be careful with doing such things. Cloaking pages, one for google, one for bots and one for real humans works best! but psss don't tell anyone :)

I thought this approach was pretty straightforward, as the user is redirected to a page matching their language.
How come it is considered as black hat then?
What if they are redirected to a language-specific URL (like example.com/de/)?

Mr. Google will find all the cloakers and will ban their sites! :pimp

Displaying your content for many different languages is NOT cloaking.

Its translating.

If you are using a Geo IP redirect you may not get penalized.

Only real way to find out is to try.
