Can you make money today on the Web without participating in web 2.0 by yourself?
 

or... how many of you who are making money online are NOT following all the web trends, and not participating in the latest fads?

community sites, forums, twitter, youtube, digg, viral marketing... seems like it's almost essential to be part of all of that to succeed in todays' age... whereas few years ago one could just come online to submit galleries and chose the best sponsors, without even knowing any mainstream sites or following the internet trends...

or do you think there's still nothing wrong in just concentrating on the area that you know best and trying to master it, without giving a fuck about web 2.0 and all the bigger trends or "hot sites"?

if you ignore web2.0 trends you are a shitty marketer, and pretty much fail internet marketing 101.
