Getting past sponsors hotlink?
 

Ok so I don't know why sponsors insist on putting hotlink protection on their images, but anyways I need to get past it somehow so my script can download FHG images. Nothing malicious going on, or any hotlinking even for that matter, I just want to have my script download the images so that I can host them myself and all that cool stuff.

Any ideas? Is there a way to send a fake referrer or something?

Why not just ask the sponsor about this instead of getting all cloak-and-dagger?

Contact the sponsor to see if that is even allowed. There are those that don't let affiliates host images. Or maybe they have zips you can download. God forbid asking permission about content.

lol I've already thought about that, not really an option. Has to be a way to get around this since I can call the image directly from my browser..
