The New Bond Flick
 

Got back from seeing *Die Another Day*, the new Bond flick. It's just as good as any other Bond flick, which means an enjoyable ride but there are no Oscars on the horizon for it.

A particular treat is Rosamund Pike, who plays Miranda Frost, the bad guy's helper. Yes, Halle Berry is beautiful (though I've never much liked her tits), but this Rosamund chick had me wanting to lick her off the screen.

Like all Bond flicks, it uses not-quite-state-of-the-art special effects and plenty of explosives as well as totally unbelievable stunts, beginning with Bond surfing into North Korea while riding 40-foot waves.

Brosnan has just about reached the end of his run, I think. He's starting to look a tad too old for the part.

My nominee for a replacement is Adrian Paul, who starred in The Highlander TV series. Not only is he a martial artist of at least competent skills, but he bears an uncanny resemblance to the young Sean Connery as he appeared in the first few Bond flicks.

This movie sucks ass in a BIG WAY. Not enough of Halle .Can I have My Money Back. I heard they made over 100 milion before it was release just off of product placement. No wonder its the most successful franchise ! :mad:

From the commercials, one gets the feeling that it's a Halle movie.

God they make the previews look good though.

I will see it on tuesday, the official release date here is friday 29.11 but my GF got tickets to a pre-screening.

How well is the Finlandia-vodka presented in the film? I heard its one of the Bond-sponsors.

That's too funny! I totally agree. I've been telling everyone I know that Adrian Paul would be the best replacement ever since
Pierce Brosnan has been talking about leaving. The resemblance to a young Sean Connery is pretty clear.
