This has probably been asked before, but can ePass pmts be reversed?
I had someone on a mainstream domain forum possibly buying a domain from me and while I'm waiting for his response on using escrow (he's completely new there), I noticed his 1 post on the forum so far was posting sold on a $50 domain paying through ePass. I've taken ePass from people here plenty of times but all have been pretty established members. Still, I had always understood it to be safe to take pmts on ePass which is why a lot of the PP to Epass scamming happens. Would appreciate input from someone who knows for sure, thanks!

No they cant.

Bump for a Michael O response.
Sounds like that would be a serious liability to allow people to reverse payments. |
I always thought its impossible, but some unknown shady guy sent me this screenshot

Well, now I can't wait for the official response.

A few years ago I accidently sent a thousand dollars to Choker when it was supposed to go to someone else. Epass had just implemented that list of favorite people to send money to and I accidently clicked on Choker when it was supposed to be the guy above or below him. Anyway...
It took me almost a week, and Choker had to approve it, but they did finally reverse the payment. Choker would have sent me the money back himself, but it was just the principle of the thing. There were a few hiccups, but they did finally reverse the transaction. It involved quite a few phone calls, but again, in the end, they needed Choker to approve the reversal. In your case, I don't know if they would do that for you or not. Wish I could be of more help. Regards, Midnight |

I'd still like to hear from Michael O if he'd like to drop by and chime in. :) |
