Managing small network of Wordpress blogs

Let's say that I would like to set up 10-20 Wordpress blogs, all under separate domains but managed by one person - what's the easiest way to handle that without giving up on SEO capabilities?

Is it best to set them up separately, one after another, or maybe a solution like WordPress MU would be a better choice? Any answer from people with experience in this field would be appreciated.

you could use wordpress mu with domain mapping but just setting up 20 different wordpress blogs and using something like www.blogdesk.org to post to them all is the easiest.

Thanks a lot, for some reason I thought it was discontinued. Glad to see it's still being developed.

waiting on the wife to finish the salsa, so here is my $0.02.

I have many blogs and think that setting them up one at a time is the best way. Remember, quality not quantity. Start with one and get it where you want it, than move on to the next. Don't rush on things and do it right the first time...

and always remember K.I.S.S, "Keep It Simple Stupid"

as for posting to them all, I use http://download.live.com/writer

Use single installs for each domain, use MU for multiple installs on one domain.

I dont like any of the mass posters, I prefer to be inside each admin and be able to check things like postviews/clickthru's and WP-User-Online, amongst other things.

Thanks for your help, guys. I'm helping someone set up this kind of thing and want to make his life easier. I never got into setting up multiple blogs until now, good to hear advice from people who know this stuff :)
