Do you look at the content you promote or join other companies sites?

I have always been curious if Affiliates ever join the sites they promote or even personally look at the programs content that makes them money.

Do affiliates eat the food they serve to their customers?

As far as competitors, I enjoy looking at BangBros content as much as our own.

DrChango 04-03-2009 12:43 PM

I wack to our stuff, but since we don't have the alt niche covered I have to go elsewhere for my goth/emo/scene/punk chick fix =/

NaughtyRob 04-03-2009 12:49 PM

Only if they don't provide enough promo material so that I can make sales.

IllTestYourGirls 04-03-2009 12:53 PM

If I am going to push a sponsor hard I will normally ask for unlimited access to all their sites.

Ozarkz 04-03-2009 12:55 PM

I sound like a broken record. But I will not promote anything until i've gone through it like one of my surfers would. I didn't in the beginning and it bit me in the ass hard.

TeenCat 04-03-2009 12:56 PM

i have some link sites where is only link to page needed, there i am promoting everything, but at my gallery and designed sites i am always promoting sites that have a good content with updates, the if the site is requested by surfers at passboards, then i look at the protection if the site is easy to hack. if its easy to hack, its easy to fill the request what means less sales :winkwink:

:2 cents::2 cents:

If it's something you can't beat off to, then what makes you think your visitors will?

It's always best to sell stuff you're turned on by, that way your sales text is true and good.

We routinely join sites to see where the market's at and making sure that we're in line with what new trends are forming.

I was a long time member of Naughty America.

The real question is wither you join or look at the trailers.

Its a real eye opener as to what you are selling after you go thru the entire sign up process.

I think I just suffered some mental retardation after attempting to read that.

I will be back latter, I feel the sudden urge to take some opiates.

I've tried to only promote content I enjoy by companies I think are 'ahead' of the game. Overtime things change and a sponsor is not always going to be your best.

As far as signing up myself, no.

Snake Doctor 04-03-2009 03:17 PM

I never join the sites I promote, I just get all their content off the tubes.

bdld 04-03-2009 08:57 PM
