Most common monitor resolution among photographers..
 

Im designing a simple portfolio website for a friend of mine but I wanted to check to see what the most common resolution among photographers is.

I'm running 1680 x 1050 and I know the most common (Across all of my websites anyway) is 1024 x 768. But I imagine that's only so for you're average deviant.

Im guessing photographers (Which would be her target audience) run something bigger??

Any help would be appreciated

I would stop focusing on 1024x768.. Go widescreen..

Because of everyone upgrading to entry level LCDs you are going to see a lot of people with the 1440x900 resolution.

1920x1200 and 1920x1280 depending which system I'm on.
