Advertising Percentage on Your Taxes
 

So what percentage of your income is being written off for advertising?

We're about 17%.. Hubby said that's really high... but another owner said that she does about 25%..

What about you guys?

ya do your own taxes?

Yeah I think I'd find quite a bit more deductions with it.. but I've never felt like I pay out the ass doing it on my own either... eh...

It's a power trip thing I guess... And Turbo Tax business online is step by step by step...

Do you guys really find that a CPA saves you THAT much?

get a CPA do you your taxes just my advice been doing this from the start i wouldnt dare to attempt to do any type of corporate return or what not , as far as expenses go you can do alot with "this" but let a pro handle it.

make sure also CPA is jewish

btw this is the first year i have had my taxes filed on time in like 6 years :pimp:pimp:pimp

I started this year in excel.. tied to my banks.. a lot more organized :) And I think when I file next year I will be doing a CPA...

I'm a control freak and like doing everything on my own...
but the time comes... I guess.

We're gonna have to file an extension on the MIL's estate... we're no where near ready.. and we're just gonna get a CPA for her..

I may have the dude do mine next year..

Wouldn't the percentage be dependant on the type of biz you are running? We're well over 50%, but that's comparing apples to oranges.
