Tube CMS Needed: Diagram Inside
 

Alright, so I need two tube scripts. However, when going into details of what is needed, a lot of times there is confusion while 'painting the picture'. Some better than others. So I finally took the time to draw out the diagrams, and descriptions.

What I need is this...

1. A tube style (this does not mean STRAIGHT TUBE) CMS script for my celeb site
2. I upload the video via FTP into a temp file.
3. I enter the info about video in web admin (Movie, description, actresses in it). Save.
4. Script convert files, whether DivX, MPG, AVI, to FLV clip.
5. Script then puts into searchable DB.
6. Ideally, I would like the script to allow membership option, and a pay per clip option via API.
7. Non-members can see preview thumbs, but they can not click them. They also can not watch the video.
7 a. This can be toggled on or off in admin.
8. Media uploads in admin must be able to handle video only, and generate thumbs. Or vidcaps only, where I do not have video.

#6 could be tricky, depending on coder skill, and may default to a VIDZ model.

I would like something similar to the VIDZ concept, although this is more of a design element, and also needs some mods for a celebrity DB kind of site versus porn...

This is how my old design handled vidcap, movie scenes. Not very SEO friendly, also kinda messy...

Now,... I am aware that some tubies have a basic script and can modify it, or build on it. Whatever.

I am looking for a FLV player for videos that works as I have drawn up, and laid out. So I am not looking for some simply tube script. It must have all components I need.

Furthermore, once this script is perfected. I will need to integrate (new build) my current picture DB and integrate the two. Both for search, but also for the handling of memberships. So when coder is developing phase one, they need to take into consideration second module of this build.

This is not a simple post BRO.

Files go into directories.

When it gets into the technical stuff, I am not sure how a coder has to make it happen.

That is why I say, FLV and not tube. This is not a tube site. This is a CMS with FLV player.

I pitched him something similar a few months back, and he ball parked it. I can't remember if it was $1000 or $1500.00. However, now that this is written out. There may (I am not a coder) be some added complexity.

I could most likely do everything with the script I am using mate, would take more time then I think it would be worth to you but alas like I said last time hit me up......
