Obama Deception? You tell me please.

First let me state that I am not dem or rep.... I generally align myself with Libertarian beliefs although in this election I was fairly amped up by the level of interest people had in Obama and that it got people involved.

My uber conservative friends constantly went on about how he's some nefarious evil doer though and I just took it at rightest bunk.

Today I got sent to this movie:
http://video.google.ca/videoplay?doc...25800195&hl=en

There's a lot of smart on here so I had to post and get feedback.

blah blah blah.. I mean I guess if you don't know anything at all about politics something like this is interesting. But it's annoying to see the obvious stuff like that a dem and a repub CAN go out to coffee together after a sitting (they can absolutely hate each other's positions also, the ideology isn't a total joke even if the differences aren't exactly a gaping chasm), lobbyists and money control things to a large degree, a politician "says one thing and does another" oe noozz!!! and the rest of the if-you've-ever-read-a-broadsheet-or-a-book-you-should-know-this shit, being used as a structual support for all the fucktarded alex jones conspiracy shit... Like "here are all the semi obvious white lies - look at how they lead to this massive big lie - total economic collapse - fema camps! boo! ps buy some prison planet merch and a subscription it's the only way to save yourself!".
He'll be a president just like any other, beholden to certain interests, break certain promises, do certain things that aren't good.. But at the same time, make real decisions for the perceived good of the country as well as others that aren't so good. I can't help but think that if these guys spent as much time working on getting ahead as they do masturbating over globalist conspiracies and wonderful narratives they can be a part of to make their lives more interesting then they'd negate most of the effects of any of the bad shit they can think of.

If you don't know the "plantation" already exists and it doesn't need to be any worse than in it's current form then the joke's on you.

Great man thanks. Still around doing my thing and always having a go at new ideas. Hope all is well by you too. I think most Libertarians here were Republicans at some point and became disillusioned when the party became largely a tool for a religious addenda.

Well I don't know why you'd expect too many Republicans in this business considering that their recent party platforms attack the very principals that make this business possible for US citizens anyway.

I know Obama hasn't been the immediate answer to our problems that we all expected, but hell, at least in his first months as a president, no towers got blown up by the US goverment and blamed on the arabs!

that scores some serious pointage with me

pornguy 04-03-2009 01:30 PM

I still think in the long run Obama is going to be bad for the US in more ways than one. He may do some really good things, and I have a few that I have prayed for ( dodging lightening as I type ) But I think he is going to cause some issues that are going to get WELL out of hand.

The staggering amount of currency being printed makes me wonder how we won't see $847 loaves of bread in a decade or less.

I'm a republican. But, I disagree with alot of their positions including on abortion, religion, and gay marriage. Republicans have strayed from their core beliefs of small government and low taxes. I hope the republicans can get back to their basics.

But, at least there is a core. Democrats have no core except race, class, gender, and above all, party. They are institutionally corrupt.

Today the libertarians are often more true to core 'republican' values.

Matt 26z 04-03-2009 02:11 PM

haha

Did anyone really think Alex Jones and his conspiracy colleagues were going to shut their sites down the day after Bush left office?

They went from being extreme left wingers to extreme right wingers overnight just to save their sites. Because that is what they do, bash whoever is in charge.
