USA Immigration and Banishment Lawyer

A Canadian friend of mine took a few modeling jobs and made a fleshlight in the States. She ended up being red flagged at the boarder and during her interrogation the US Customers agent found proof in her emails that she had in fact taken these few jobs.

Subsequently she was deported and banned for 5 years from reentering the States. However, she needs to be able to work in the States or it will significantly effect her professionally and personally.

Does anyone know an amazing Canadian or American lawyer that can help with this? Even any advice from someone who's had a similar situation happen to them or a friend?

Thanks,
Mike

good luck with that... it's not gonna be easy

Customs* ;)

WarChild 03-31-2009 09:58 PM

She's pretty much done for I'm afraid. She lied to Customs and worked with a Visa. They're pretty serious about that stuff. Not being able to support herself without working further in the US is not really the concern of US Customs and Immigration.

Sounds like an uphill battle she won't win.

i have an odd idea to prevent this from happening

its a bit crazy

here it goes

... how about people think about the consequences of their actions BEFORE doing it, instead of crying victim after the fact

its so nutty, it just might work

The funny part here is that had she come into the country Mexican style, that is to say had she simply snuck in with no visa... she wouldn't be in any trouble at all.

Hell, she could then stay here as long as she wanted too because, as every knows , you can't throw an illegal immigrant out.

Ahhh yes another person speaks that has no fucking clue what he is talking about.

EVERY day a 727 LOADED with illegals takes off from either Texas or Arizona and returns Mexicans back to Mainland Mexico a Well down into the country.

On top of that EVERY day at least 10 ICE ( US CUSTOMS and IMMIGRATION ) people escort illegal aliens back to their country.

As for the girl. She is basically screwed until some sort of policy change is made.

is it normal procedure for customs to go through your emails?

DatingGameExpert 04-01-2009 06:09 AM

Lolz, tell her you'll see her in 5 years. She's an idiot and a immi-noob.

What he said.

She broke the rules, lied and got caught. She's probably not gonna get back in. :2 cents:

Get in her car, drive across at NY or WA border, get on a plane in those cities, and never leave. Simple as that.

Drive across the border, it's much easier and you can often get by without really being checked.

really? your "solution" is to compound crimes with more crimes and then live illegally in a country hoping to never get caught, live in constant fear, never drive etc and i guess her "modeling" will be for cash only... hoping that no employer ever reports paying her or gets into trouble and gets investigated?

jesus man.

Not to mention they'll catch her at the border anyway.

When I used to have Canadian girls fly down to work for me in my Strap-on Sally movies back in the 90's I would always give them a big long speech on the phone about what to bring and what not to bring and what to say and what not to say at the border. A few of them completely ignored my advice and took my business cards or name and information or other incriminating evidence like lots of slutwear and they also got banned. The lesson nowadays- especially in the internet age where people travel with laptops- is to be paranoid and make sure that you take nothing that they can look at to figure out what you are doing. Hidden partitions in your laptop and a well rehearsed story are necessary if you are coming across the border for more than simply tourist purposes.

best of luck

i lived in Seattle for years and it did get kind of shitty crossing the boarder in the last few years. i don't think we ever went through where we weren't asked to go show our passports and they asked us questions (me and my wife)

i also got flagged on the way back and sat inside while they searched our car etc and watched people lie to Customs for maybe 3 hrs or so. That was immensely entertaining. For example, a Chinese guy was telling them he was heading to Oregon to see a friend and on his front seat was e-mails, directions etc to Pennsylvania.

"where are you going"
... "Oregon"

"why are you going to Oregon"
... "To see a friend"

"Why do you have a map and directions to Pennsylvania"
... "Do i?"
... "I don't know.. can i see what you're talking about"

"Look, i've got 7 more hours to play this game. I kinda like it and your only way out of here is to start telling me the truth"
... "oh, i'm going to Oregon.. thats the truth"

"why do you have e-mails saying you will be in Pennsylvania on the 12th and a hotel reservation"
... "do i? can i see what you're talking about"

etc etc etc. it went on forever. i kept waiting for them to just arrest him... was curious how it would play out... but after a couple hours, i had to leave.

people are fucking morons. as a world, we spend far too much time, energy and money on stupid people. its an unnecessary drain... and people need to be sterilized.

There's no way to hire any lawyer or group that can repeal this. They banned her - and justifiably so. She can not enter the US for 5 years.

Consider her lucky, they normally hand out the 10 year cards like candy.

Speaking as someone who has lived in Arizona for most of his adult life, I must say that there is some truth to that guy's statement. Illegals are so prevalent that oft times people turn a blind eye to them, and when they are detained and processed all these immigrant rights and Latino groups come out of the damn woodwork to protest it.
They even go so far as to drive around town in vehicles licensed in Mexico, not paying registration fees or meeting emissions standards, but if they get pulled over by a cop, the cop can't ask to see their green card or the police department gets sued for discrimination (even though they have a Sinaloa or Sonora plate on their vehicle!)

sounds like she is screwed :2 cents:

Well, they're a little tougher in New Jersey.

I had to go to traffic court there a couple of years back and before my case came up no fewer than 20 Mexicans, one by one, stood before the judge and plead guilty to the same offense; driving without a license. The judge in turn ordered each of them to pay a small fine (about a $150) and sent them on their merry way.

Immigration laws are a joke.

The issue of a 'crime' is pointless... our Gov "ALLOWS" 30 million illegals... another one actually working, won't hurt.

No fear, they wouldn't catch her at the border or later.. They wouldn't even know she was here. Just like the bucket loads of other Canadians that do the same thing. Just like Americans do in Canada. Just like Canadians do that get rejected at one port, they drive to the next and get in.

She is Canadian, they can report the taxes if they like, and they wouldn't get into trouble for it. The IRS actually allows illegals to pay taxes, and doesn't report it. At that, she is doing some modeling, that doesn't sound like a 40 hour a week job.

And Canadians can legally drive here... and get insurance, and medical is covered..

So yeah, take your chances and drive across. The worst that would happen is they don't let you in. Wow, big fucking deal.

...so are you at least going to give her a dick to lean on?
