Windows 7 started at so well, but....

...after being installed for a month or so it's just as fucking slow as any other version..
There's some serious problems with windows cleaning up when programs being un-installed and shit.. every single days it just gets slower and slower..

CurrentlySober 03-31-2009 06:23 AM

No problems here...

And I installed every program I had on the thing trying to slow it down.

Specs: Dual core laptop, 1 GB RAM, 120 GB sATA HD

Sam Granger 03-31-2009 07:17 AM

No slowdowns here so far. Been running for a while, daily use.

UniqueD 03-31-2009 07:19 AM

Mr.Right - Banned For Life 03-31-2009 07:20 AM

I liked W7, it's nice, but I wouldn't change for my vista actually... I was thinking in go back to XP, more stability...

Um that's why it's called a BETA.

it never ceases to amaze when people bitch about a BETA because it doesn't work correctly. If it did it wouldn't be a BETA.

:2 cents:

also what build are you using?

munki 03-31-2009 08:54 AM

Win 7 is rocking here... running the 64 bit on a machine with 8 gbs ram... night and day quicker than Vista 64.

None. What difference does that make?

bobby666 03-31-2009 09:20 AM

no microsoft product will become faster by any time

farkedup 03-31-2009 09:27 AM

I ran W7 for a while. I had to update to more recent builds because beta 1 fucked up bad after a few weeks but the updated build worked better for me. Luckily its easy to update the build as new ones come out.

chelis 03-31-2009 10:45 AM

I won't try it until the release an "alpha" version. It's pointless to argue about a beta version.

alpha is more raw.

first they release alpha, then it goes to beta.

Sexyblogger 03-31-2009 01:07 PM

I like XP! :)

Paul Waters 03-31-2009 01:23 PM

Only problem I have with winnie doze 7 is that it crashes a couple minutes after connecting to my Samba server.

It runs PS CS4 64 bit just great!
