I saw someone on another board the other day saying he had sold all of his sites three years ago, and now he's kicking himself. All he had to do was keep the hosting up and he'd have income rolling in all of this time.....

+1. I was considering selling some TGPs a few years back for some quick cash but given that you're lucky to get 3 months income it's better just to let them sit there. As of this point in time they've made the expected sale price many times over.

Same with a very small paysite, someone offered me $10k for it, which at the time seemed astronomical. The deal fell through, then soon afterwards I found the site was actually great for funnelling traffic to a PPM webcam sponsor. It makes multiples of $10k a year now.

Of course if your revenue is lower than your costs there's no point keeping a site...

^ BTW the beauty of revshare-for-life webcams is that I could close the site tomorrow and still make 10's of K's a year.

Unless I was using AWE, of course
