Does Friday or Weekend even matter to you anymore?
 

Just wanted to know how many people DON'T consider Friday or the weekend to be any more signifigant then any other day of the week.

"Online All The Time" has kind of crushed the traditional work week....

The question more or less implies a "No"

However, I voted yes. Hooray for the weekend :thumbsup

Friday means the last work day of the week for me in the real world. It also means I can come home and spend the next two days in front of this computer working on porn.

It doesnt really matter anymore, as ill throw a barbcue on tuesday and get drunk on thursday for the hell of it and then take the weekend 'off' if you can call it that.

no matter what i do im working, i think about sites and things when im in the shower. hell - anyone who knows, knows this job is the <i>best</i> job - and when you like what you do the lazy factor is gone.

Everyday is Friday for me.

i look forward to the weekend! but i don't work from home. but i wouldn't want to work from home.. then i would get too lazy, me have no discipline. i vote yes!

It matters slightly. I sometimes take friday night off and watch tv or go to a movie once in awhile

I treat saturday the same way. Working all day, and then take the night off.

the work week is meaningless now... i do whatever i want whenever the hell i want, more or less...

it's like being on permanent vacation!

Yeah I just chill on Fridays now...got fired from my job. They talkin somethin bout they saw me stealing boxes on the video camera....:winkwink:

Sure it matters. My sales always go up slightly on the weekends :thumbsup

Personally, I hate fridays since they signify the weekend - and that means the kids are off school and it makes it impossible to get any work done.

Now...give me Mondays...and I'm happy!

the weekends can be annoying because banks and other businesses are closed. other than that, everyday is the same...

on the weekend the clubs have more people in them. That and all the people I know with "real jobs" can finally hang out and get loaded with me.

Working for your self means always working. Weekends and holidays are just signified by no mail and no banking.

After 6 years in this biz working 7 days a week I changed routines a few months back, and now automate everything for the weekend, so I dont have to switch on the PC except to answer email.

I find I work better now treating mon-fri as work days and weekends for going away, washing the cars, working on the house, reading a book, etc etc.

but I had to force myself otherwise you never do it.

No, its all just one continuous blur of work and play. Mostly work these days. :)
