What would you recommend we do with our video content?
 

We have our own videos we want to include within a members pay section of our website. What would you recommend we did with it? Is it better to have the content streaming for our members to watch online or is it better to offer them the downloads of the videos to keep on their hard drive?

What is everyone else doing with their video content?

How much are web sites charging customers to join and view the content? Whats a reasonable price to change?

I know I have a lot of questions but please help :)

Offer them both. the more options the better. Make sure to offer multiple sizes.

How are other sites doing this? Are they offering both? Would it be one straight fee for both?

My opinion will not be the popular one...BUT...If you allow them to download the content, you should protect it with DRM. If not, you are screwing yourself as the content will be all over the net and worthless to you. :2 cents:

Streaming, they will come back daily to jerkoff. Better retention when you know how to update your videos regularly :)

My Opinion might be even less popular ... but if you go with only streaming, why not also offer a downloadable DRM free video once a month. Make it mostly highlights and snippets ... a video like that with your watermark flying around the web ain't the worst thing in world.

1:- you shuld not allow users to download videos u shuld have these on your server necouse it keeps users comming back to your site and nobody can misuse your videos.

2- for streaming i can do your videos in a manner where it needs 0-1 seconds for streaming so your visiters need not to wait for streaming u can see player at homepage of clubtriplex.net
