    Chickenfoot about to tour --- will you be seeing them?

    The debut album by Chickenfoot ? the supergroup featuring Sammy Hagar, Michael Anthony, Chad Smith from the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Joe Satriani ? will be released exclusively at Best Buy stores on June 7th. The packaging will be heat sensitive, so when you touch the CD inlay, photos of the band will be revealed behind the Chickenfoot logo.

    A little gimmicky but sounds like it will be a new release CD actually worth buying.

    The album contains 11 songs with titles such as ?Avenida Revolution,? ?Soap on a Rope,? ?Sexy Little Thing,? ?Oh Yeah,? ?Runnin? Out? and ?Get It Up.?

    Chickenfoot will tour Europe in June and July with US dates in the fall.

      I see this sort of thing happening more and more lately... supergroups. Looks like artists/record companies are looking for new ways to make money. I wish they would just embrace the technology already.

          Case in point: I haven't heard a thing from that so-called supergroup "Super Nova", Tommy Lee and co.

          They had this tv show a few years ago to find a lead singer, narrowed it down to one guy and then nothing.

          Same with INXS come to think of it. They found that Canadian guy, put out one song and then... what? I haven't heard a thing about them since either.

          I'll say this about this band Chickenfoot, at least they've put out a CD and will actually be touring.

                  I imagine Hagar's tequila had something to do with the choosing of that name. Gotta be pretty sauzled to pick a name like chickenfoot.
