Verotel - Ticketclub Problem

I got phone call from Verotel - Ticketclub, that there has been refunds generated
since 2006-2009 that they did not noticed due their "bad merchant partner"
and they ask for $5000 bill to be paid..

The solution they offering, is deduct some amount from the holdbacks, which is like
$1500 and the rest deduct from the invoices to 12 times

Anyone with the same problem?

I mean, they said it's their partner fault and there is nothing they can do.

Yeah, seen these posted around by other webmasters. That just sucks.

Yep got slammed by that too. Everyone is getting hit by it it seems, and they refuse to take responsibility for their own mistakes.

I got a email about refunds for the last 4 months.

It's not a huge amount so at least that is good.

Can anyone find other posts from webmasters to the same point? Thx

It's not their mistakes, it is a mistake by a merchant bank. Something they would not have been able to see, or control.

Yes it sucks. However, from what I have seen and heard, they are working with people, and letting people take money out of their hold back. Good thing they have it eh? Most people bitch about it.

Just imagine if it were CCB or another with none. Then you would really be able to cry in your beer.

At least verotel is working with its clients. They were screwed and in turn are trying to do the right thing rather than screw their clients too.

GloBill sent me two bad checks totaling 17k and bailed ship. Like the guy posted above me...this verotel issue could've been a lot worse.

It's terrible. Someone who speaks "ok" english with terrible accent tells you
this bullshit on top of the bad economy.....They had ever picked up the best time
for this !!!

This is just an assumption. I don't think anything about what has happened has really been disclosed yet.

axel77 03-27-2009 09:37 AM

And how about if it's not true. How about if it's some bullshit they came up with, to
collect more money from webmasters...

They saying it's not their fault, so it's mine..They should have some kind of
insurance for this cases.

Because you recieved monies that werent able to be processed. Why should you keep something that was never yours. :2 cents: Why should Verotel pay for it, that would mean they are having to pay out twice for the banks mistake.:2 cents::2 cents:
