What's the going rate for 2D and 3D custom animation?

The title, pretty much, sums it up.

For quality production, mainstream guys I worked with minimum rate $75-100 per second and up depending on the level of details.

considering most render software takes about 1 hour per sec of animation that quote sounds spot on, sadly though I charge way less then that lol.

30 one min clips for $1,500

10 masterbation
10 blow jobs
10 boy/girl fucking

So with that package I'm only charging $50.00 per minute

As someone who has been doing production animation for 15 years, I can tell you that pricing should never be based on how long it takes to render. It's about the work involved in making the animation. Its on the animator to have enough machines to render, so that never factors in for the client to worry about...well, maybe a little.

How much sweat do you put into the actual modeling, texturing, creation of the movement and post-processing? That's where the price should be. Not trying to tell you how to do it. Just sayin.

I should point out that it's a bare minimum for 2D animation - complexity of scene, how many animated objects, voice and audio all add up also preproduction - script and story boards. The manual labor put in work to produce a second of animation is astounding.

Got busy trying to pay bills. Its looking awesome though.

I'm trying to convince the wife to let me take a break from mainstream and focus on my project full steam.
