De meeste bedrijven in adult hebben op dit moment nog geen goed antwoord op de opkomst van tubes, simpelweg omdat het nog niet duidelijk is wat de gevolgen op de lange termijn zullen zijn. Niemand weet nog waar de bodem in conversion rates uiteindelijk zal komen te liggen, wanneer tubes eenmaal volledig de nieuwe standaard zijn.

Ik kan me voorstellen dat wanneer je sites als Worldsex runt, de vraag of, wanneer en in hoeverre je van format switcht uitermate relevant is. Een volledige switch is alleen de moeite waard als dat leidt tot significant hoger verkeer en instandhouding van redelijke ratios, terwijl de keuze geheel niet te switchen het risico met zich meebrengt dat bestaande sites in verkeer blijven afnemen en over een paar jaar hun relevantie voor surfers volledig verloren zullen hebben. Maar er is ook het gevaar dat een complete of gedeeltelijke switch het eigen verkeer kannibaliseert en slechts ratios verlaagt zonder duidelijke voordelen met zich mee te brengen.

En wat betreft het uitbesteden van een oplossing... ook een competente webmaster profiteert van bestaand verkeer en een bestaande infrastructuur.

Persoonlijk denk ik dat deze vacature een zeer goede kans is voor een competente webmaster. Dus succes met de zoektocht! :thumbsup
