you can get a generic Netti Pot at any Walgreens or Whole Foods. Just make sure to use purified water that is warm, but not hot. Easiest is to put a bottle of water in the microwave for 45 - 60 sec mix the salt in it and test to see if its not too hot. You'll never have problems with allergies. You've got one smart doctor, congrats.

I have acute sinusitis and when I use one of those damn expensive nasal decongestants, it makes my nose bleed. So maybe I'd use the warm water and salt solution.

I use it my doc is all about the holistic though I have a much cheaper version that works just as good I think its called sinus rinse or something. I prefer it over the neti pot as I find it easier to use.

funny thing, my doctor told me to buy a similar thing recently and I just bought it today:
sinus rinse from neilmed http://www.neilmed.com/usa/products.php didn't open it yet, with my laziness it will take 1 more week to read the instructions :Oh crap |
We're doing a test market thing for something similar. I did it this morning in the shower. It was like blasting salt water up my nose.
