whats good for headaches?
 

im anti aspirin so I need some other options...death is not an option plz

Advil Liqui Gel capsules. They kick a headache's ass in a matter of minutes! I swear by them. Has to be the "Liqui-Gel" ones though. Something about that gel makes them dissolve faster and work quicker, I think.

3 Advill or 2 Alleve usually work for me...

Excedrin Migrane. Your headache will be gone lickety split. Of course you could always just down a mountain dew or a couple of cups of coffee. Some headaches happen when the blood vessels in your brain tighen up and you start to feel pressure. Caffeine helps open those blood vessels.

Caffine dehyrdates you, which will make the headache worse because your brain tissue will contract.

Water, two gentle painkillers and some glasses for using the computer. Probably eye strain.

Actually lots of coffee helps. If you're like me and immune to coffee in the sense that I have no problem falling asleep after a pot, go for it. Caffeine expands your blood vessels, including those in your noodle and thus helps with headaches.

drink water....they say the aspirin you take isnt as effective as the water you drink to take the aspirin. dehydration is a major cause of headaches. Unless you have the damn sinus headache..in that case just cut your fucking head off :1orglaugh

I figure Tylenol and Ibuprofen are chemically different, so I generally take a major dose of each...a "drug cocktail" if you will, and it seems to work pretty well. I'll have to try the caffeine approach, though it sounds like something I wouldn't want to do if I also wanted some rest.

Actually, caffiene constricts your blood vessels, not the other way around.
