You are correct... but 9 times out of 10 that particular event wouldn't be initiated by a 17 year old girl... and I know for a fact my daughter wouldn't initiate it.
Maybe we are odd parents... but we pay very close attention to who our daughter hangs out with and where she is going... we don't limit her that much because she hasn't proven to us that she will make bad decisions (except occasionally). We encourage her to be herself but we are attentive... and kids will let you know they did something they shouldn't be doing without saying a thing... we always know when she has done something she shouldn't.Comment
