Serious-Partners NOT Paying
 

I am terribly sorry to have my first post in GFY to be of a negative nature but I feel this needs to be addressed.

We?ve been slowly removing Serious-Partners affiliate links off of our
websites pages due to their failure to make payment.

We've met the the minimum payment requirement many payment
deadline dates ago and still haven't received a check.
All we keep seeing is a new payment date after payment date.

Wrote to the them for the 3rd time at info [at] serious-partners[dot]com
and received no response.

Sent them a ticket in their webmaster affiliate area.
Irina replied saying :

Isn't this information tracked and logged from their stats script ?

A response was sent instantly to Irina on 12 Mar 2009 06:43 which was not read
but the ticket was closed five (5) days later :

(I have screen-shots of this brief correspondence but I need 30 posts on GFY
to be able to post URLs)

No response from Serious-Partners as a new payment date
is once again set.

We were now becoming a little peed off, so I decided to call them
at their advertised phone number : Phone number: 1-806-209-5486

That phone number has been disconnected.

Serious-partner links have been removed off of our website pages and
message message board including our partner message boards untill this
issue has been resolved.

We are not a gigantic website with tons of traffic but we do expect
payment like everyone else.

Well Now that sucks, but I would have started a thread just asking for contact info first..

Just to make sure its a bit less negative.

they need an english speaking rep.. not a rep who "thinks" they can.

We had no other options but to make this issue known here. :)

Apparently irinasp of Serious-Partners is satisfied and has assured me that no other hold will be placed on our earnings.

After payment is received from Serious-Partners we will resume working with their affiliate program.

I have bookmarked this thread and will update it the moment we receive our earnings.

It appeared the check was sent on March 23rd.
My earnings check was received Monday March 30th, deposited yesterday (March 31st) and has cleared today, April 1st.

I'm glad this person was paid, but what was the deal?

Why did all communication go ignored? Why is the support # dead? What was the reason for holding payment in the first place?

I think this thread could be of help to anyone else that experiences what we
have experienced.

I've been a member here for quite some time and haven't found a need to make a post
just due to the fact that every question I had was answered simply by using GFY's search function.



We have no idea.
The only response we received was :

That was through their Serious-Partner support ticket which took a good week or so before it was even read. After that, the support ticket was closed and they did not even read my response.
We sent emails to their info [at] serious-partners which went unanswered due our emails being redirected to their junk mail.
We attempted to call their business phone number which was disconnected.
My colleague was astonished and snapped screen-shots of the entire correspondence / step-by-step.

Another question brought to our attention was who were we ?
The affiliate application contained our :
A. Website URL
B. Our full names
C. Our mailing address
D. Our phone number
E. Our Tax ID#
So I am not entirely sure what additional information was required ?

We exhausted every avenue possible. The last resort was to bring it to GFY's attention for potential insight, analysis and possible assistance to resolve this matter.

More than I can name. This is no secret about them and has been discussed on numerous boards.

The thread below is older but it's a start. That said, I was in their members' area about one month ago and found plenty of materials that didn't belong there including some belonging to GFYers so they're still up to it. Google the phrase: "serious partners stolen content site:gfy.com" without the quotations for more. You can substitute other well known boards instead of GFY to get more results.

So in order to get your first payment you have to contact support or they will just hold your earnings? Is this standard procedure?

Apparently so.

They needed to know who we were.
I imagine our :
*Name
*Website URL
*admin [at] ourwebsite.com
*Home mailing address
*Telephone number
*Tax ID#
were not sufficient.

It took this thread on GFY to achieve any satisfaction.
I contribute Serious-Partners sudden swift action due to the fact that
Serious-Partners advertises their sites links all over this message board and
really do not need additional bad publicity as was outlined in prior posts with
respect to stolen content.
