More US Women Turning to Adult Entertainment to Earn Money

Employers from within the adult entertainment industry in the United States are reporting an increase in applications from women who are seeking to supplement their income in the light of the current economic crisis.

Many of the applicants are former office workers and often they are college graduates. The general manager of the Sin City gentleman's club in NYC said that 85 people applied in one day to a posting on Craigslist.

Some employers are cautioning against rushing into the adult entertainment scene, and said it has to be a measured decision. One adult film maker said: "Once you make an adult film, it never goes away."

Does anyone here ever notice that some, not all girls, think they can just walk into a porno and become a star?

I'm all for amateur porn but some people really need to do their research first before "diving" into it.

cool :winkwink::thumbsup

I'm wondering if this increased supply of talent will decrease production costs. This could be a boon for content producers. :thumbsup

At least we don?t have to worry about the girls from MM & OMP running out to do adult work, since they all KNOW they are America?s next top model!

FuzzyDunlop 03-23-2009 07:05 AM

Point them in our direction

seems it is a good thing :)

alexchechs 03-23-2009 11:56 AM

I think its both good and bad. Good that girls who would never entertain the idea of doing a video are more open to it. The bad, it will over saturate the amateur market with talent .

John-ACWM 03-23-2009 01:01 PM

what's bad for some,good for others

x3hub 03-23-2009 01:05 PM

Are we talking about talent or the web end of things?
