I used to prefer beer to wine, but now that I'm older and more mature I prefer wine.

Beer=low-class swill. It doesn't even have a bouquet, and even the best Belgians are, well, SIMPLE compared to a Bordeaux.

Beer = rotten bread juice

Wine = the bottled perfume of the Arcadian countryside during it's delicious spring and summer.

J. Falcon 03-22-2009 06:36 PM

Wine is definitely better. I must have dranked 4 bottles of some very good stuff on Saturday night. It goes down easy, tastes great and doesn't leave a bad hangover (unless you drink shit).

I read somewhere that people who enjoy wine actually have less sensitive taste buds.

The more sensitive your taste buds are, the worse wine tastes.

Sounds like you have never had a good beer. The two I had today both had great bouquets.

Platinumpimp 03-22-2009 07:04 PM

Wine does make you look more, how is I say, ''interesting'' :)

LeRoy 03-22-2009 07:11 PM

Wine coolers? I thought only chicks drank those.

Corleone 03-22-2009 07:29 PM

depends on the occasion nothing better than a ice cold beer while sitting at the beach with my friends! a nice bottle of red wine for dinner with my girl and Im the happiest man ;)

Brujah 03-22-2009 08:35 PM

time to dabble in some craft brews or microbrews

You know, I've never actually drank wine... I wouldn't know where to even begin... Wine isn't huge here in the midwest, so obviously I'd be wine-tarded and buy something cheap which is considered crap...

bns666 03-23-2009 02:47 AM

I drink both, depends on the mood and/or food :)

After Shock Media 03-23-2009 03:15 AM

They both have their own tastes, complexities, and even proper parings with assorted foods. Thinking that one is greater than another, let alone of higher class is just pure honest self indulgent ignorance.

brassmonkey 03-23-2009 03:16 AM

guys dont drink 2 much wine spirits and beer:thumbsup

VicD 03-23-2009 03:17 AM

More mature... :)

rayadp05 03-23-2009 03:18 AM

Depends on the mood that I am in. If I am out at a nice place eating dinner then I will drink wine but if I am kicking it with a bunch of friends and wanna get fucked up, I'll drink whiskey or either down a bunch of beers. But yeah, I do like drinking wine but I don't always drink it.

I like the odd bottle of white wine, can't stand the reds. But nothing beats wildberry wines, or a good dandelion wine...

Reak AGV 03-23-2009 03:57 AM

I like whine better too for dinner, during nights i always drink wiskey's :)

kowalsky 03-23-2009 07:15 AM

I never go to bed without drinking a cup of wine before...

RebelR 03-23-2009 07:26 AM

You know, it all depends on the occasion. Sometimes on a hot day, a good lager cant be beat. Or a good NZ sauvignion blanc in the evening when its not 20 below. Then it depends on what you are having for dinner, Thai or Indian food ( or anything else that is hot for that matter) is best served with beer, since the compounds in the peppers dont go well with most wine.

As a small tip though. if you do get stuck with a mediocre bottle of red, serve it with cheese. The fat in the cheese will block any of the negative flavours from hitting the tongue, thus rendering more pallatable.

Wine can be very relaxing if you add a few cute women and a hot tub;)
