I miss that kind of summer... a one that I never had :(.

Now that made me laugh.
That is the pool we put in last year.
wish I had waited there would be deals to be had this year, however I wont be sitting in a back hoe for three weeks landsapping this spring at least.

These were shot at Fort DelSoto of off Tampa Bay.
I believe it was used a coastal defense before and during the second world war.
after that it was abandoned and the whole town and Island fortification was used for target practice by the Navy

This is what is left of the town after the clean up of the ruins just foundations for the most part. I think over 1000 people lived here when the forts were active.

This was the power station the only building not made from reinforced concrete they used Island sand that was mostly sea shells, It took a direct hit.

In the last year or so we have shot at five different forts, abandon places, an aircraft carrier, A cold war air base and on a WW2 submarine to mention just a few places.
Anyone needs any info just hit me up.

That place reminds me of an old WWII fort on the west coast. Ft. Stevens and Battery Russell.

Makes for a great shooting location but difficult as people are always around, even in the winter months.

Fort DeSoto is an amazing place to visit.. just dont like the little briars on the gorund from the trees.
