I Have A ? Regarding Spam?
 

Ok every time a program sends mail to people all you here is people yelling and bitching that they are being spammed!!!!

My ? is is it really spam. ???

Like i hear people talking about explioted cash today . Im getting them as we speak. but i did not think it was spam. ive gotten 8 of them so far today. But this is why i wanna know why people think its spam. Every time i hear people bitch that they are getting slammed with mail i look at the mail .. alot of times i get 8 emails in a row.

when i get 8 emails in a row , i know why. cuase at one point in time when i used to submitt tgp galleries i opted in my email address to each tgp i confirmed at. so is it spam. ? i dont think it is spam cuase we have done biusness with these tgps. Maybe im wrong but i though thats what tgp owners did was collect webmaster email address and then send them mail becuase we have had done some kind of transaction with them. they also have our ip email confirmed and so on.

so for all you people who say your getting slammed with emails from a program i would imagine you have submitted tgps with a shit load of address in the past

just my thoughts. It makes sense to me and i exspect to get the mail and i thought they had the right to mail us. but im probably wrong.

Honestly most people just click delete & its not a big issue. Every now & then you'll have people come on the board & slam a program for sending out program updates/news etc. Those people are just unhappy little bitch's.

You'll never see a big name in this industry get on a board & bitch about "x" company sending them spam :thumbsup

Localg, I am getting them to domains I have never ever used for e-mail addresses, all the emails have no refer codes in them they are sending directly to exploitedteensasia.com/affiliate/ which shows no refer in the source there either. In my book this makes it pure spam.

When I submit to tgp's or something along that line I get mail to the e-mail addy I used, this is expected and I can accept that. I usually delete and block these (which I have done with the above)

Actually theres a couple people on this board that "think" they are big names in the industry that bitch about program spam.

As far as i'm concerned if people have a new program and they think it might benefit me...then by all means, they can e-mail me.

I can think of 100 different cases in which a spam from a new program gave me a new/interesting idea, so to me...its not all bad.

Now when i get porn spam at [email protected] that kind of pisses me off, because the idiot collecting the lists didn't set up his list utility to take out "webmaster@", which just shows he has no business sending out mail. :1orglaugh

localG....you are right, but there are also a lot of pricks out there taking the piss, and a lot of stupid virus shit that must fuck up a lot of internet new comers :(

I agree with that... the virus shit dont make much sence to me.
